Federal Level
One of the three governance layers of the federal system, alongside the Municipal and Cantonal levels, at which Federal authorities — including the Federal Constitutional Court and Federal courts — exercise legislative, executive, and judicial power; there are no direct elections at this level, as the Federal Parliament is composed of the Members of the Cantonal Parliaments.
