Central Bank
The Banque du Liban remains the federation’s central bank, with a cantonal central bank in each canton.
In the canton, the cantonal central bank manages money and credit.
At the federal level, the Banque du Liban is run by a council of the cantonal governors, chaired in turn, which decides unanimously (Art. 66).
