Georges Jabbour

Georges Jabbour is one of FedLeb.org's principal and most prolific contributors. He is President of "Ittihadiyoun" ("Federalists"), a Lebanese civil association that has developed a detailed proposal for a "geo-cultural" federal model for Lebanon inspired by the Swiss cantonal system, under which non-contiguous municipalities belonging to the same cultural or religious community would be grouped into shared cantons. He appears regularly on Lebanese television and radio, including Voice of Lebanon, discussing federalism, the legacy of the Taef Agreement, sectarianism and Lebanon's political crisis, and frequently presents FedLeb.org content alongside Iyad Boustany.
