Legal System

The legal order of the federation: the Boustany Constitution, the laws of the cantons and of the federation, and the rights they guarantee.

Cantonal law prevails in any conflict (Art. 24), and existing Lebanese laws remain in force until the cantons or the federation take them over (Art. 98).
