Identity

Every Lebanese has two identities: a community, inherited with its values, and Lebanese, shared by free agreement.

Belonging to a community is a matter of culture and values, not of faith: believer or not, one keeps it.

In the federation this takes the form of three belongings: municipal residency, cantonal citizenship and Lebanese nationality.

This category also has articles in French and Arabic.
