Citizenship

Every Lebanese is a citizen of a canton, with the right to vote for its parliament and Prime Minister wherever they live.

Any citizen may settle in another canton, and either keep their cantonal citizenship or apply for naturalisation under that canton’s law (Art. 5, 14, 121).
