Citizenship
Cantonal Citizenship — distinct from Lebanese Nationality and Municipal Residency — determines an individual’s membership in one of the four Cantons and their eligibility to vote in Cantonal elections; it is granted and may be withdrawn only under conditions set by Cantonal law, and dual cantonal citizenship is not permitted.
