Communities

Lebanon’s communities, each with its own history, values and way of life.

The Boustany Constitution builds the federation on four communities – Christian, Sunni, Shiite and Druze – and recognises Lebanon’s 18 official communities as founding communities (Section X).

Each lives by its own values in its own canton, while all share one state.
