Neutrality
The Federation’s commitment to keep Lebanon entirely neutral in order to maintain peace, including becoming a non-voting observer member of international organizations such as the Arab League and the United Nations, while allowing Cantons to transfer sovereign powers to trans-frontier institutions without Federal Government consent.
