Judiciary Power (Federal Tribunals)
Federal courts settle what concerns the federation, led by a Federal Constitutional Court whose judges are appointed equally by the cantons. It interprets the Basic Law and settles disputes between the federation and the cantons, or between cantons (Art. 70–73). Where a cantonal and a federal ruling differ, the cantonal one prevails (Art. 77).
