Ismailis

The Ismailis are one of Lebanon’s 18 officially recognised communities, and a founding community of the federation.

A small Muslim community with its own history and traditions, they are not one of the four narratives on which the draft constitution builds its cantons; their place in the cantonal system remains an open question.
