Education is entirely a Canton matter. Article 9 of the Boustany Constitution places the whole school system under the supervision of each Canton.
Each Canton designs its own curriculum, including how its national narrative and its philosophical or religious traditions are taught. Parents decide whether their children receive religious instruction. Private schools, where a Canton authorises them, must still teach that Canton’s historical, religious and national-narrative curriculum.
