- This Basic Law, which, applies to all four (4) Cantons of which Lebanon is comprised, shall be put to vote on July 30, 2099.
- If, at such time, one or more Canton decides (through referendum) to reject such Basic Law and absent the adherence to a new agreement, such Canton would be able to declare its independence.
